5 Places Within a 5 Minute Drive of Belle Aire Shores

February 14, 2017

The Belle Aire Shores community is conveniently located in an admirable neighbourhood within incredibly close proximity to many of Innisfil’s attractions, amenities and public service buildings. While most young professionals and busy multitasking parents tend to commute to work at further distances, it’s reassuring to know these accommodating facilities are met within close distance to Belle Aire Shores’ new homes. In this article we’ve listed 5 places located within a 5 minute drive of Belle Aire Shores’ beautiful 36′, 42′ and 50′ detached homes.

1. Food and Grocery

It’s good to know that you won’t have to travel far when it comes to providing yourself and your family with basic daily staples. No Frills, located on 20th Sideroad, and Sobeys on Jans Boulevard, are both less than a 5 minute drive away from the Belle Aire Shores’ community, and have opening hours spanning from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. to accommodate those with the most hectic of schedules. Both stores also offer the option to download or print daily and weekly coupons for customers’ convenience.

2. Recreation

Innisfil’s Town Hall, also the town’s central recreational center, is located on Innisfil Beach Road and is only a 5 minute distance from Belle Aire Shores. Innisfil’s YMCA on Yonge Street is the same distance drive. This friendly and accommodating hub of activity boasts seasonal programs and lessons—including skating, swimming, fitness camps, seniors walking sessions, volleyball, yoga, scrapbooking—for Innisfil residents of all ages. They also created various minor and adult sports leagues for those wanting to maintain a healthy lifestyle while socializing with others in the community.

3. Innisfil’s Waterfront

Innisfil’s 2 km waterfront trail along Innisfil Beach Park has something to offer everyone. Take the family for a swim or play a match in the park’s volleyball or tennis courts, as well as the soccer fields or baseball diamonds during the summer months. Enjoy a picnic along the stream and small woodland before winter arrives and the park fills with families snowshoeing along the banks. This relatively flat trail passes by accessible washrooms, making it convenient for families pushing strollers, as well as residents needing wheelchair access.

4. Child Care

Families seeking childcare and/or daycare services have many at their disposal, two of which are a mere 5 minute drive each from Belle Aire Shores’ new, conveniently-located neighbourhood. Both the YMCA Child Care St. Francis of Assisi on Anna Maria Avenue, and YMCA Child Care Alcona Glen on Innisfil Beach Road, both offer childcare services for children 1 to 12, a convenient service for young families and parents juggling work and other daily commitments and seeking reliable day care for their growing families.

5. Libraries

Innisfil’s Churchill Branch on 4th Line is only a 5 minute drive, with the Lakeshore and Stroud locations a 7-8 minute drive from Belle Aire Shores. All branches have after school programs, as well as drop-in story time for kids, preschool programs, writing and book clubs, and the popular ‘tinkershop,’ crafty classes offered by the library for both kids and adults. Some of these classes teach participants how to create decals, DIY board games, cookie cutters and more! Having the basic necessities and essential community facilities close by is always a compelling benefit.

After a long, busy day of work, it’s great knowing that anything you may need is just around the corner. This also allows for more life balance, community involvement, and quality time with your family. Belle Aire Shores’ beautifully-designed 36′, 42′ and 50′ detached homes have everything to offer in a location that encourages an active, healthy and happy life for you and your family.
